The 2 Hook Clipped Flapper Rig is used for general sea fishing and not targeting specifically one species. They are ideal for anglers fishing new venues or on holiday as they allow you to present more than one bait at a time so maximising your fishing time and species of fish. It is also useful as a distance rig where the fish may be that further out and a streamlined rig is required. The hooks are held clipped in with the help of a SRT spring which provides tensioning for the top hook and a bait clip for the bottom hook whilst casting - but gives 100% hook release upon hitting the bottom.
